Applying for Residential or Day Service Training

Funding for residential support and day service training placements usually depends upon your own needs and circumstances and can include independent funding as well as Local Authority sponsorship.

For advice on funding, you can contact

• your Local Authority (via Council Offices or Help Line)
• your Social Worker (if you have one)
• your local Community Team for People with Learning Difficulties

After initial discussion, we will ask you to complete an application form which will help us to see if we are able to provide the support that you want. This is usually supported by your Social Worker, Doctor or other relevant case worker / professional.
