The Horticulture group grows a wide range of spring bedding, patio and basket plants, herbaceous perennials, hardy shrubs and climbers. All are available for sale in our shop at the Country Centre.

They can also provide a complete bedding, tub and hanging basket display for your business – the group have won prizes for their work.

Journey from the Downs

Display Gardens at ACC in progress to include:

•Grape vines at the entrance - depicting vineyards on the Downs.

•Future Garden - oranges, lemons and bananas.

•Water Garden.

 

•Sussex Cottage – brickwork path design by Andrew Pickthall (service user).

•Nectar Bar - high pollen plants.

•Recycled Garden – wheels, tyres, half a car to follow as a planter.

•The Beach – indigenous plants with seeds taken from local beach under licence.

All to be linked together by a Friendship Path with seating along the way to enjoy the views.
