Recycle
Everyone knows that recycling is good for the environment, but it’s also good for the Aldingbourne Trust in two important ways.
The Aldingbourne Trust partners the experts at the Recycling Appeal to turn our used mobile phones and printer and fax machine cartridges into cash and we’d like you to join in too.
Every used printer cartridge* is worth £1 to the Trust and every mobile phone is worth £5. If you have one of the estimated 90 million handsets sitting in drawers or cupboards in the UK, please take it to the Aldingbourne Country Centre or the Acorn Centre.
*Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Epsom cartridges.
For more information, please contact the Aldingbourne Trust Support Team on 01243 542075 or email recycling@aldingbournetrust.co.uk.
In addition to this initiative, recycling is a core part of several of our social enterprises. Our not-for-profit businesses employ people with learning difficulties and we’re always in need of wood, gardening materials, unwanted furniture and display materials to restore or transform into unique items to sell in our shops.
Contact us for more information about how recycling your unwanted items can help the Aldingbourne Trust.
Use Everyclick as your online search engine
Everyclick is a search engine, like Google, but it has a unique difference: it donates half of its revenue to charity. It doesn’t cost you or the Aldingbourne Trust a penny to use, but every time you click to search the web, the Trust benefits financially.
Visit Everyclick and set it as your home page or your preferred search engine.
Visit the Aldingbourne Trust
One of the most enjoyable ways to support us is to visit us! You’ll receive a warm welcome at the Aldingbourne Country Centre and the Acorn Centre the whole year round. Why not come and enjoy the animals and the nature trails, relax in our cafés with freshly prepared food, much of it grown by the people we help?
You can also visit our gift shop which stock plants and vegetables from our garden centre along with other interesting products made in our social enterprises.
There’s plenty of free parking and every purchase you make will help raise the money we need to go on supporting people with learning difficulties.
We hope to welcome you to Aldingbourne soon.
